  2. nope

  3. Wouldn't dream of it.

As always, min-raises like that are usually a sign of strength. But strength here could be almost any overpair...his range is definitely wider than just a set.

  4. Probably not giving this up, but I also don't jam here after getting raised on this flop.

What do you do, then? Call, and check/call the turn & river? You're only opening yourself up to questioning whether or not you're still good.

  6. thx for the replies

I'm sometimes guilty of doin the same as the OP (re shipping the lot when you get gay raised (nothin wrong with it)) and like grapsfan says if you flat it's unlikely the turn has improved villains hand and the money is going in anyway!
  8. FOLDing to his minraise is def an option, i think. I make these type weird folds from time to time. Honestly to gawd, i open check & then folded my AA in a very very similar spot to this(flop8910), deep in a Sunday major. Im sayin, if u fear that his range on that flop is weighted towards (strong hands, and even 57 & 67s type hands), then a FOLD to preserve your 50k stak at the 800/1600 level is certainly an option. obv obv your read on how this HUGE stak {125k} is playin is key.
The DANGER of folding is that his range def includes some hands like 55, 66, 99 & the 57s, 67o, all of which u have a solid edge. With that in mind, CALLINg the min raise is viable, and reevaluating on a turn card, that might be paint and go chk-chk. Its mentally tough to have to chk-fold on the turn in this type situation, so thats why u might lean towards a FOLD on the flop. But reevaluating on the turn seems simple in this case, seeing as its only a min raise for u to call.

  9. to me the board is to uncoordinated to fold on the flop, like Flex said there alot of hands you have huge edge on. I absolutely hate seeing a min raise cause to me it screams something huge but on the other hand its not surprising to see something like A8, 86, 76, 99+ call you off here. calling and then reevaluating is ok but most of the time the chips will go in anyway. tough luck gl next time
  10. I don't think folding is an option here. Unless he has a really tight image. But even then I don't think I'd fold.
