Hey folks, been a while since i last posted here on 5s. This hand came in the 80k R&a on dise... Blinds were 200/400 25 ante..UTG raised to 5.5k, at this point i look at my queens, having just lost a dent of my stack flopping the nut straight and losing to a flush on the river.. I immediately put the utg raiser on ak, so smooth called knowing that if no ace or king came on the flop, i was gettin my chips in, flop comes 8 high, im in position, theres 12k just over in the pot, the utg raiser bets out 3k or so, this again calls out to me that my assumptiion preflop into what he had was true, i chose to re raise all in, and without a flicker of a second, he called...hands show, he s got ak, then proceeds to hit the king on the river to knock me out...Any suggestions as to whether i played this wrong, right, i cant see how its wrong to play the hand as i did, going with my instincts preflop that he had ak, just bugging as to how he can call off his chips with ak knowing he must be behind, this is the aspect of the game im getting tired of, i know it happens, it happens alot, just getting annoyed at playing what seems like the perfect game, then something like this happening.
