I know i'm suppose to know what to do if this happens, but i don't. Been at table maybe an orbit, and villain has three bet me pre once and i folded, doesnt mean much but it certainly had an effect. What is the best option with 32 BB?

Guy was pretty tight/solid i'd say. I opened a little bigger then a normally would kinda telling him i'm not messing around, although he could precieve this as weekness. at the time i was thinking hes snap pushing any pair,kjs+,a8+, maybe even something like 10js. He has 12bb, so if im raising do i have to call pretty much every time? range I gave to lose for a tight player?

    thanks

  2. 1) Shove

    2) Call

Both are very very easy decisions, esp. given that its both button vs BB.

In the 2nd hand you should just open shove with those stacks. If they had more chips though, definitely avoid 'letting them know you're not messing around.' You want action from weaker hands and every hand better than you doesn't give a shit if you're not messing around.

  3. Haha good points on #2. As for number one...is it really that standard to shove here? does our decision change if villain is a pro or a weaker player?

  4. Yep, it's extremely standard...You could stack off with quite a bit more than 30x and justify it here. AK is a lot bigger of a hand than you're making it out to be.

Against a pro or weak player, the $$ is going in here on your side, and the fact that he's already 3b you once helps your case for shoving (not that it needs help.)

  5. 1 shove

2 call...odds kinda and he's reshipping light. Might be a race but you gotta win races to win tourneys. I would say the raise is good because it gives them a chance to reship and you snap call fist pump all in. And if you win...you've also turned over a strong open from the button and can steal later because people will put you on something decent if you know what I mean.
  6. Thanks for the replys. Hand one, i shiped/got called and won vs KK, and #2 i called and lost vs AK. I guess they both just showed up with the top off their ranges this time. oh well..would do again.

  7. hand 1: shove all day long and shove worse if bb is any competent and not a total nit

hand 2: shove pre and hi 5monitor when you get called by A8 and hold
actually min raising or close to min raising like making it 8999 or so and snapping any shove is kinda sexy too. since it might get some guys to think they might have fe and get them to ship hands they would normally fold to a shove. and def dont make it 14k at 2/4 like ever

on an other note im pretty proud of me, how i managed not to be a dick for once and ask u why you even posted the most ridic standard spots ever weeeeeeeeeeee me
