  1. Some of this is re-posted from other forums I post on, apologies for those of you that read it multiple times:

Just wanted to say a couple of quick things...

    1) I appreciate all the support

    2) CPs reporting is sporadic at best. If you see a report of me doing something retarded, it's probably a misprint. The AA call WAS bad, but not NEARLY as bad as the CP report made it look. I raised to 3.5x pre-flop UTG and he called in the BB. I bet 175k on the flop and 400k on the turn. there was well over 1.5 mill in the pot. That doesn't make it a good call, but it doesn't make it NEARLY as bad as CP made it look. I didn't slowplay them. It was a bad call though, I've made maybe 2-3 bad plays over 6 days of play, and I won't deny that.

The AJ call I had a definite read on. Chris was raising the button a lot, and he had even re-popped a few times. On top of that the big blind was a player whose rail 'coach' was advising him (quite loudly I might add) to fold into the next money level rather than gamble. I knew this, Chris knew this, and Chris knew that I knew this, and I knew that Chris knew that I knew this. Given all that information, and given the 2:1 pot odds I was getting, I really felt that AJ was better than 33% against his range (I gave him a range of 77-KK and AT+). I knew I was gambling, but I thought it was a very favorable spot to do so. Just because I call and he flips up AQo doesn't make the play good or bad. Either my read was right or wrong, but I think it was a good one. I did get lucky though.

    3) I've got plenty of fighting chips left. At one point I was 19/27 in the stars $1 Million too, and we all know how that turned out. I HAVE hit a few 2 outers, but I've also lost 2 2 outers prior to today and a 1 outer today (that wasn't reported and that I didn't show my hand on). My luck so far has been pretty even, but denying I've gotten it twice when my tournament depending on it would be stupid :)

    4) On the Rizen vs JohnnyBax issue - Isn't this like debating which jaw-dropping supermodel is hotter? Cliff is an AMAZING poker player. I am honored to be mentoined in the same breath as him and everyone else in the P5s top 10 (and even top 75). I do appreciate all the support from everyone. I play poker for a living, and my family is supported quite well. As far as I'm concerned that makes my poker career a success whether I'm ranked #1 or not at all.

    5) A VERY special thanks to PocketFivesLive. I don't know if everyone recognizes what an awesome thing this is and how much work the admins put into it. I mean I'm sure it's a part of their overall business plan for P5s, but the attention to detail and things they've done is just amazing. Online players are VERY solid, and will continue to put up success on all the biggest stages. P5s live is where you're going to get the coverage from for online players before anyone else is tracking it. My family definitely thanks you guys as do a lot of my friends. Even without the media credentials you guys are still the only place they can go to for accurate information and chip counts on me. It means a lot to me and my family, and if I do take this thing down, I'm really going to do my best to take care of the people who have taken care of me (P5s, PXF, 2+2, etc) during this whole event.

Again, thanks for all the support, and don't believe everything you read ;)

    -Rizen
