    Heard this term a lot recently. I'm at work so most of the sites Google came back with are blocked. Anyone have any insight? Thanks.

    Basically, you're doubling your action with your opponent, or another player. Let's say I'm playing heads-up with you, and I agree to cross-book with a third party. If I win $500 playing with you, Mr. X owes me an additional $500. If you win $500, I owe Mr. X $500 too.
