There will be a call-in discussion regarding the gambling legislation on CSPAN at 8:30 a.m. Central, for those of us awake.

Edit - Michael Bolcerek did a very good job representing our community. If you have not joined the PPA, now is the time!

I caught the last 5 mins of it. His views on the future of poker is dim. He stated that ISPs will block poker sites and that banks will block funding exchanges with poker related site...

I tried to get thru, but perpetual busy signal obviously. The callers weren't the most articulate bunch you could hope for, but they were almost unanimously supportive of online poker. I didn't think Bolcerek was as on-point as he could have been, but he did a decent job of hitting the basic points. C-span.org will post the clip on their website within a few hours, for anyone interested in taking a look.

I wathced the whole thing and try to get in a call but busy as hell. I think his appearance was a waste of airtime. He studdered real bad he knows just like all of us know nothing is going to change. He hit some questions on the head but alot was just heresay and his on judgement. I think his biggest mistake as well as Pokerstars saying poker was a game of skill, acting as if luck is no part of it. Poker is gambling but he acknowledges it isnt a game of chance. Thats where every1 i fing up saying not a game of chance a game of skill. LOL. So if any of you DA then oh well at least we still have freedom of speech.
