    Hi.

    I'm not sure where to post this so if it's the wrong forum, mods can move it.

    CTS and SlowHabit recently came out with the ultimate poker book and it is listed at $1850. The reviews so far have been awesome. I'm thiiiiissss close from clicking the buy button. Anyone here read it yet?

    Sure hope that's 18.50 not 1850$...better be the tell all and end all book if it's the latter...lol

    its not a typo the book is $1850 or one thousand eight-hundred and fifty dollars.

    I know the $1850 is a typo, but I seriously did a double take when I read it.

    That being said, this appears to be a pretty badass read.

    EDIT: VOMIT. nevermind it IS $1850. lol.

    You want to buy a poker book for 100x normal value? Even Doyle didn't used to sell super system for that much! What info could possibly be worth that much? And if it is, why not just sit and read it at the book store?

    its terribly indepth but jezus who can afford that when they are learning and on strict br management.

    thier other book catch 22 is an e-book i would assume this is aswell until otherwise notified. (bookstore is out i guess dude)

    To those who think this is pricey: This book is directed towards 2-4 NL and 3-6 NL players so 1850 is just a couple buy ins(3-5). Once you get to these limits, finding good information is tough to find. Poker training sites are only good enough to get you to .5/1 or 1/2 so your only other alternative is private coaching. Good coaching typically is 250-300 an hour for these limits but in an hour, you usually don't run into very many good scenarios. Maybe a couple in an hour. This book will provide dozens of scenarios and other tid-bits that will be extremely beneficial to your game. You will receive in this 5 times more information than six hours of personal coaching will provide you with. I plan on buying this actually in the coming days. Ill let you know what I think.
