    July 18-22 they are having some tournaments there.

    July 18th- Hold em/Omaha H/L $60
    July 19th- Hold em $60
    July 20th- Hold em $125
    July 21st- Hold em $225
    July 22nd- Hold em $425

    I will only be there for the Sunday tourney.

    The barn at the Hank! I went to high school in Fargo, ND and played a LOT of late night black jack there when I was senior in high school...

    I hate that place

    There were a few dealers let go there last year.

    They ran a $5 rebuy event every Monday and it was found that they were not reporting the correct number of rebuys and were pocketing the money

    Also their structure in those tourneys sucked

    blinds at 25-50 and you started with a whopping 300-500 chips.

    15 min blinds and they doubled.

    Dakota Magic poker room was pretty bad. I heard they revamped it. But have not returned there in about 8 months.

    It used to 18, but I think they changed it to serve booze. I haven't been there in close to 10 years, so I am NOT a good resource.

    Yeah its 21 now. They still have the horrible $5 rebuy structure every Monday. I only go up there for these tourneys they do every 3 months. The blind structure is very good. The $425 on Sunday starts at 1pm. You get 15,000 starting chips and the blinds start at 25-50 and go up every 30 minutes. They have a new poker room but these tourneys are run in the convention center. The have 30 tables i believe. This is the first time they are doing the $425. The $225 on Saturday usually gets between 80 and 120 people so it wont be that huge. Im sure whe winner will get $10K though so its worth the trip.

    Not sure, im actually in SD about 100 miles from Hankinson. Thats the only decent casino around. They have a $100 freezeout every Saturday. Never played in it but I probably will make it up there sometime around then.

    He left Aberdeen in 94 or 95, so a bit before you got there... :)
