I think you are stuck going broke on this hand. Possibly the only way to prevent this would be to make larger raises both preflop or on the flop.
The villian limps in with 98s UTG. The 4xBB raise is fine if you are isolating from late position, but since you are UTG+2 you have many people to act behind you. I think the best play would be to discourage any more callers with a raise to $12-$15. This should discourage the calls behind you and possibly take down the pot preflop.
On the flop, you flop the nuts and get led into with a small bet. I am looking to play a big pot here. The pot is $17+$6+$6 (preflop, bet, and your call) = $29. You only raise $12 more. At least a pot size raise seems warranted here. I know you want to bulid a pot with the nuts, but there are so many possibilities for flush draws and straight draws there. The small $12 raise gives them perfect drawing odds. After the turn you are destined to go broke against his hand unless you can fill up.
I think the only way to take this down is to raise bigger preflop and take a small pot, or make a larger raise on the flop say to $50 or so. Even then, given his holding, I think he still calls with the monster draw.
Good luck to you. -
raise a little more pre, maybe 10, but other than that, what is the point of this thread? you got coolered.

Pot size reraise on the flop. If they're playing a draw, make them pay through the nose.
