    At least he is humble and smart enough to realize that he is running good, unlike Jamie Gold, who thought he was outplaying everyone.

    I wish I could find the clip where he goes and tells Chan, "I am going to trap all of them". If by trapping, he meant sucking out and running like a Kenyan, than yes, You were trapping all of them Mr. Gold. What a tool.

    I like the guy. Least he admitted to catching cards practically the whole tournament. Would be kind of cool to see him and Ivey heads up. Darvin might be the only guy who wouldn't appear to be rattled.

    Yeah I have alot of respect for how he acknowledged how sick he was running rather than defending his level of play; very humble and cool guy indeed.

    Not sure what you mean by this but there's an article somewhere that Moon says if Ivey even looks at him wrong when he has hand he'll probably just fold because he's so intimidated by Ivey.

    I loved that even if he ships this, he says hes going back to logging. lol. I could never ever go back to a labor intensive job like that after winning millions.

    I'm thinking this guy is on some sick level where he just plays dumb....that 5 million 3 bet convinced me. "I've been underbetting, overbetting...I don't know, I'm new to this game."

    Seriously though, cool and humble dude. Can't hate on a guy like that (although people managed to hate on Jerry Yang. Go figure.).

    i'm pretty sure jamie was a mid to upper mid stakes cash player in LA before he won the main event- darvin is probably 30% of the player jamie was. not that im saying jamie was a poker badass

    I understand the process of judging a poker player's ability by the stakes they play at. The games do get tougher as you go up, obv. But to a guy who has plays poker recreationally, the stakes aren't as important, imo. Just like finding a musical talent in some hole in the wall bar, Darvin Moon might just play the game of poker really well, and no one's ever heard of him bc he just plays locally. I definitely wouldn't discount this logger's ability just because his first trip to vegas was this summer. Of course it always helps to run good.

    I remember when everyone was really hating on Moon during the ME, but I gotta say watching this guy on TV is awesome. It must be unbelievably scary to have a guy at your table who is running that good, plus I think he was smart to make everyone at the table scared of him because they are just sure hes either got them beat or is gonna draw out, that's like the best possible table image. I know everyone is jealous and thinks he's a luck box, but I don't care as long as he doesn't knock phil ivey out with some horrendous beat. I was prepared to be a hater, but after watching the most recent WSOP episode (at 2am) and enjoying watching moon so much, I am in Moon's corner with the previously mentioned condition.

    Besides the fact that this all happened 4 months ago and we know who the november nine are (i guess not all of us), elky was knocked out of the tourney 3 episodes ago, so his chances of final tabling are non existent.

    I really like Moon. He's playing off his "Duuuhhhh I'm just a dumb logger" image and seems to clearly understand that he's been running exceptionally well to be in the spot he is. I don't really know how good he is at poker yet, but I wouldn't assume he's horrible or anything. I mean he couldn't have run this good for 8 straight days, right?
