  1. i feel bad for this guy...he seems like a nice guy..played with him a few times live and he seems cool..this the 3rd stright WPT ft for him that he takes one on the chin.

Flopping 2 pair vs AA and the board puts 4 same suit up.

In Atlantis, when his KK goes down after a Queen high flop...Just seems he plays so well and can never get to that next level...g2 be a pain.

I mean hes making good money, he did win the 7.5k HU event at Mirage, but its g2 suck to get bad beated after bad beated at these FT...
  2. He got very unlucky there after his opponent made a pretty big mistake against him

  3. Might make you feel better to know he picked up 230k earlier in the week winning the $7500 heads up tourney at the Mirage.

Mans playing some great poker right now, I'm sure they'll fall his way soon...
  4. ADam wats was the mistake??? limping?

Yes i did say that..he did pick up the win in the HU event and some nice WPT Cashes but imagine how much more money he woulda won...just b/w ATLANTIS And borgata alone and now this...o well gg

  5. first off david singer is the toughest player ive ever played against live (in admittedly not much live experience)

second he is a really really classy guy and i hope he has a ton of success in the future.

third, if your going to limp with aces and you dont get a raise you better proceed with a lot of caution. when singer puts in the third bet into an unraised pot this eliminates the possibilty of a draw or one pair, thus his opponent must lay his hand down.
  6. menlo very very well said in all aspects..where did u play live w. him bc i think ur 18 or 19 correct>

    Aruba?> atlantis?>

  7. atlantis, i played with him for about 4 hours on day 3, and talked to him for a while in the casino before his final table. He told me he had a lot of respect for ozzys game, but thought the rest of the table was pretty soft.
  8. I don't think it's necessarily a problem to limp with AA, as long as two things are true:

    1) You're limping with a variety of hands....why would you EVER let your opponents in cheap AND make it clear what you're holding----this one, I can't know one way or the other, since it was one isolated hand posted on CP

    2) You are able to sense the strength of your opponents and get away if you're beat. After he raised on the flop, Singer had to be nearly certain he had an overpair, and he moved in, and this guy probably should have known at this point he was beat. Obviously, that's easier said than done....that's why try not to telegraph my hands....I feel a lot more comfortable obtaining information if I'm confident that my opponents don't know what I'm holding
