A day in the life of a chump (kinda long, but hope fun)

    Ok, so many of you that have seen my posts in the past know i'm from Washington State and quit online poker with the new felony law here.

    Well, I just started up again this past week, mostly playing from my GF's house in Canada. I just put $50 on party to get back in the swing of things and always know i can add cash anytime, but usually have no problem starting on the $25nl with 2 buy-ins cuz it's just that easy...This week was no different and got it up to $600 in a few days (mostly from $25nl, but a couple small tourney cashes in there) and tranfered $100 to pokerstars (don't know why...can't win a cent on that site)

    Before i get into yesterday, I'm about the most unlikely person to tilt and usually have great judgement, but think my evil twin woke up for me yesterday, cuz it really felt like I was out of my mind....

    Ok, so to start off the day.

    9am-1:30pm....I wake up late and have have to rush to get to an written exam for another Federal Law Enforcement agency...The test took 4 hours and cuz i rushed, had a huge headache during the exam.

    2pm.........I start off with a tourney on party and was pretty card dead, but picked up AA, was able to get in all-in against 2 players and Q-10 ended up winning...ok not a good start to my day, still have a headache, but it happens.

    3:30....... go straight to the party blackjack and put $50 on one hand ,think i had 14 against the dealer 3 and stay....dealer wins...I leave....Granted I have stated that i will never play party BJ again, but I used to do this all the time when i would have a bad poker session...run to the BJ table and put $50-150 on one hand and then leave win or lose...I'm guessing i'm probably up about 2-3k using this strat...but realize this was short term and i should still stay way.

    3:45.....play a little $1/2 nl not a bad session up about $50, but then lose $70 on 1 hand with KK get my trips on the flop and guy catches gutshot...ok down $20 for session...

    4:30..... run to BJ table....bet $125...have 16 against dealer 6..stay.. dealer wins and i leave.

    4:45.....I go to my sportsbetting account in which i haven't used in 2 years, deposit $150 and put it all on a pre-season football game....yes I said it, bet $150 on pre-season....so now I'm watching the game while contuning to play poker......bet on San Diego +4.5.....like the third pass of the game...urlacher runs back an imterception for a td, then a little bit later chicago runs back a 100 yard return....oh my...gotta lose my money with this kinda crap.

    4:45.... play some horse at pokerstars and really think this is going to be a cash cow, but for the same reason I lost due to people having no clue...twice when playing razz i have a 7 and 8 high board showing betting gets capped with other player having QQ and KK showing, knowing they have bet all the way and have to rely on last card. oh well go play some pot-limit omaha high, I get a monster trip kings flop with the nut flush draw...no ace on the board....pretty good pot pre-flop...I'm in position and get guy in front of me pots it get 1 call, i pot it and he goes the rest of the way and i call...I didn't improve with a boat or the flush and guy gets str8 on river....now, I know i'm tilting but you gotta be kidding me, I'm still getting in with the best of it everytime.

    6-9pm...play a limit tourney...no luck...play some limit $2/4 no luck....
    Then go and put the table max $200 on one hand, and this is sick, but probably needed it to get my freaking head straight....i get like 6 total against the dealer 9...i hit and now have 8 hit again and have 11....nice...hit again and get a freaking 2 for 13 and hit again and get the Q to bust......dealer flips over ace for 20...had to, but just sick.

    9pm...Finally realize i'm a sicko and finish watching season 5 sopranos (best season IMO) I have netflixed all five seasons over the last 3 weeks and can't wait til i get season 6

    so that is the day in the life of someone who just woke up on the wrong side of the bed. and should have stayed away from any sort of gambling at all costs..lol...all in all the money is no big deal...I have $58 in my party account so pretty much just blew off my winnings for the week other than my extra $150 i blew on the football game.

    I mean this is no big deal, but thought it would be a funny read. Maybe if someone is in the gambling mood can see remember this, then I can save one person
