If you have been watching this season of High Stakes Poker, the replays of the 05 Main Event, and/or his "Mouthpiece" segments on Cardplayer.com, you know what I mean. This needs to happen, and I mean now. Especially if drugs are somehow involved. He is just too much.
-
Last years TOC was best televised poker on TV ever and it had nothing to do with the game.
-
I used to say this, I have since retracted. He gets overwhelming. You might be right in edited doses though.
-
I think I could deal with him, edited, an hour a week. Especially if they gave him an interesting foil, like Erik Seidel... or perhaps an actual foil to stab Norman Chad to death with.
-
That is a great idea. I think he is a riot. When he sang on high stakes poker "have i told you lately you all suck". He is a little arrogant, but great TV.
-
he is good for the game. and as arrogant as he is at times.... he's the first one to say how much he sucks when he busts out. Or how much of a donk he is... or no matter how much he wins he always finds a way to go BUSTO!
RANK DILL PICKLE -
I just rewatched the '04 WSOP on DVD, and seeing Matusow cry like a baby is always a highlight.
-
Damn, 9 left and he has more chips than the other 8 combined. This would be his first bracelet, correct?
-
Apparently his 4 mil in chips was a Cardplayer glitch (this site really sucks this year). Now showing him 4th.
-
He won the TOC last year... but im assuming because it only started with 125 guys give or take theres no bracelet awarded. Assumably invitation only or whatever the requirements were.
-
Per the Hendon Mob, Matusow won the $3500 NL at the 99 WSOP and $5000 O8 at the 2002 WSOP.
-
Mike has 2 WSOP bracelets:
1999 $3,500 event NLHE
2002 $5,000 Omaha Hi-Lo...(Heads up with Daniel N.)
Just FYI -
Thank you both. Suppose I coulda checked but I was almost certain he had none. Shows how much I know.
-
dumbest idea ever, dude is annoying as fuck
-
you are wrong, Tony G is the one deserving of a reality show, i'd pay good money to watch Tony G order a burger at a drive through, and even more to see how he responds if they get the order wrong, or shortchang ehim
-
I don't think that that makes me wrong. Yes, Tony G deserves a show, as does Matusow. I think, however, that if Phil Hellmuth had one, it would rank as the most horrible atrocity network executives have ever unleashed on this world, and that does include "The War at Home".
