He had raised it in the same spot last orbit, so i felt he was bluffing when he made his original raise, but does he really 4bet me here because im a random. Either way i wished i had called because this hand below happened very shortly after for the chip lead.

Obviously he goes on to win the 27k for 1st.
Comments on either hand would be much appreciated. Thankyou -
1. tough situation. He could definitely be 4betting light, or shoving 88-JJ and you're flipping. The decision for me really depends on how the villain was responding to 3 bets. If he never 4bet, I fold. If he was frequently 4betting, I consider a call. Given you're both top 4 stacks, I think you're better off folding and focusing on abusing the smaller stacks.
2. standard. -
Hand #1: Have a plan for the hand. Dont just 3-bet because you got AQ. You just turned your hand into a bluff. If you're not prepared to call the 4-bet, then just smoothcall pre and re-evaluate the flop.
Hand #2: Standard. -
Call first shove 2nd...UL on 2nd.
-
I don't mind either play at all.
First hand you should be 3-betting AQ oop 100% of the time here. I probably would call JP OSU's 4-bet shove since he is really good (making him wider than a random player). It is very close, though, and I don't mind a fold as much as everyone else.
I would flat AQ with these stacks against a random or noted bad player oop or against JP OSU if I was ip. Flatting a player of JP OSU's caliber oop with AQ is giving him a license to own you. So I think 3-bet/call = 3-bet/fold > flatting >>>>>> open folding.
Second hand I'm doing the happy dance. NH UL GG. -
dont 3bet unless ur planning on calling a 4bet imo. ur not deep enough to be 3betting here and turning AQ into a bluff. so call 1st hand, and 2nd hand ul.
