  1. Down to 8 people with 4 people on 2 tables. I am in 2nd with 130k and villain to my immediate left has 80k. Blinds are 1200/2400+antes. Villain has been at the table nearly 45 minutes and has been very aggressive reraising several times and has only shown down one hand. 4 times I have raised out of my small blind into his big blind and he has reraised me all 4 times and I have folded. I get dealt 44 in SB, folds around to me and I make it 5800 to go. Villain in BB yet again reraises me to 18000. I believed I was way ahead of his range and that he had been 3 betting pretty light. I decided to go all-in figuring I could get a fold out of him a decent amount of the time and if not I am most likely flipping. He ends up calling with AQdd and hitting a flush on the turn to win the hand. I get knocked down to 50k and end up going out in 8th. What do you guys think? Was it a good play at the time or was I better off mucking it?
  2. I would suggest limping in that spot since you can make your hand out to be even stronger or keep the pot small. Obviously even with a wide open range on his end, 44 isnt way ahead of much. If you limp and he is as aggressive as you have portrayed him, he will raise more often than not. Depending on your ideal strategy late you can either repop big and represent a monster hand and a well laid trap, or just call and try to play the smallest pot possible. If he doesnt raise then you can obviously just play it by ear but that seems unlikely.

Since you are in a pretty good position at this point, you dont need to seek out big pots with small pairs as i am sure you know--so I would take one of those lines.
