I´m pretty sure I know what to do here..... 29 players left 1,25 million is about FT avg.
I was fairly active at the table, so was Dart Serg, he did reshove for his entire stack early but didn´t get called, i got the impression that he is not very comfortable playing postflop.
So it looks like such a sweet spot for him to squeeze and since he is shoving effectively around 37BBs i thought i can count out big pairs like AA,KK and QQ, also small and mid pairs like 22-77 and I was pretty sure he wouldnt do it with something less than Ajs.
I but him on a range like, 88-JJ, AQo+, maybe AJs+ but more likely AQs+
His stats over 61 hands:
vpip 32.7; pfr 19.6; 3bet% 11.75

Considering your reads, I think a call is correct here. He probably has AQ-AK alot, and the range of pairs you gave him seems about right (although there is always a random donk who shows up with AA-KK or something). Versus a range of 88-QQ, AJs, AQ-AK you have 46.44% which is a clear call with all of the dead money in the pot (assuming that pistolet guy is never trapping). And if he shoves wider, then that's more equity for you.

I agree with the read AQs or AK..but you're against 10/10 or J/J there alot too, so best case you're flipping for your whole stack and a decent stack at that..praying that you're a coin flip, and not crushed by 10/10 or J/J..IMO an argument could be made for either play, and neither would be "wrong"..but personally I'm waiting for a better spot where I'm ahead more often..and not here where your opponents range is so broad..all of this being said..I play so bad, I'd prolly call anyway..lol

Edited By: P33J Jan 30th, 2012 at 11:47 PMI think I am folding, we are getting about 1.25:1 on a call which means we would need ~45% equity to call here. I'm just not comfortable operating that close to the margin for such a huge pot, I think that range you have assigned him if anything is a little bit generous AJs seems like a stretch but of course I could be wrong.Originally Posted by dalix88

Well it depends on your reads we cant realy help you. If you have set him a range (which we cant) then we just need to work out how we play verse that range and were 49%
I dont think a call is that clever if thats the case unless you think the whole table have a skill advantage over yourself then go for it flip..
