I saw the UTG limper limp-fold to raise from EP twice already, so I decided to chop my stack vs limp or 3xBB raise... could've gotten away if I chose one of the two latter options, but at this point w 20 ppl left and my stack being below avg. I felt I needed to go all the way at this point... justified? -
Pretty tough to let it go with almost half your stack committed and an M of approximately 7. I call it and hope I'm racing against A-K or A-Q.
Now for the results oriented part of my post:
Even if you had raised a smaller amount and the villain had flat called, after that flop, you're going broke for sure. -
Yeah no way im getting away post-flop if villain flats regardless of PF action, but i can fold PF had i limped or raised it 3xBB if he shoves... the original action is the one I'm debating
-
If you fold, your M drops to a little less than 4, so you're definitely putting yourself in a desperate situation and you may not see a better hand than 9-9.
If I knew how to properly do the equity calculation I would, but I think with your raise PF to 43,000, you're pretty much completely committed.
Not that I don't like that raise, but afterwards, I think you pretty much have to call. -
