I'm either shove/fold here. It's the 3.30r and i'm playing to win so i'm not afraid to just get it all in, plus i have <15 BBs so flatting isn't much of an option. 4 to the flop I feel like top pair J kicker isn't the greatest spot to get it in, but at the same time I think I'm stacking up fine against his range here.*

    What's your move?
  2. don't limp

  3. Not sure what you were looking for in this spot to make this a profitable play at all...personally I fold pre or I am raising to get all the dead money out and show strength...I really dont understand playing this deep in a very profitable tourney unless u flop 2 pair or the straight playing j10 with 2 limpers in b4 you and 2 to act behind you is a looooooosing play....as played( I cant say that) just fold...you ahev no clue of where you are here

My thinking was that I was in position with 10 J and it's 20k to call to win 100k in the pot already. Thought it was a good spot to see a flop with 10 J.*

Looking at it now you're right, I should have played it differently pre. But as played, do people fold or shove here?

You only have 14bbs. Even on the button, limping behind is bad; it's way to speculative with your push/fold stack.
  7. Fold. Top pair J kicker in a 5 way pot is not what you want. As played, he could have limped a monster from early position (I see this a lot in this tourney, especially deep) and he could easily have a set or flush draw with 2 overs. Either way at best you're likely slightly ahead right now, at worst you're already crushed.
  8. *Yeah you're right. As played I shoved and he called with KK.

Thanks for the input though guys, this definitely helps.*
