how bad did i screw this hand up should i have shoved preflop? check shove post flop? and since i messed all that up, am i folding when he reraises my value bet on the river everytime?
he was playing pretty standard i pretty much new i was ahead of his range with my KQ.
my late game hurts because of hands like this all the time what am i doing wrong

You played the hand fine until the river. Check calling the river or bet folding the river would be legit here. Even check folding.

Keep playing KQ OOP.. See what happens.. If you say your ahead of his range then three bet his ass pre flop and take it down right there.

honestly at this stage those chips are to important to flat twice in a row, I probably would have reshoved if he was lose or had been doing that often... if he was super tight I lay it down and pick a better spot, if i have no read maybe I call the pre flop but even still I think calling you have no idea where you are on the flop... it hit you but when he bet you just called, again either shove or fold i think. I'm shoving pre or folding with your read of being well ahead of his range. If you lose, well GG, if you win you have yourself in a postion to become table captian and take down the whole thing.

thanks guys makes sence after i reviewed it when i calmed down i figured i should have folded to his raise cause if he was bluffing i think he would have pushed instead and not leave himself so short stacked with that kinda raise, i know i played it wrong from the get go but these big lay downs i still something i have a problem with.
