Either raise enough to put gingang all in.. Or just open fold right here.
-
flat call, raise? or hmm fold (i dont think so)
-
seems like an easy shove to me...
edit: oh nahh, adler's stack... well i'd reup it and see what adler does. then ship if he folds -
you forgat to mention that you where running 22nd from 220 left with a twice avg stack in comanding lead and having a good shot to final table this thing i think this changes the whole picture here
flatcall see a flop and take it from there but not in the hell risking 50% of your stack on a tpwk with a draw when you are in that position with ,i dont think its neessary to gambol here for 50%of your stack , fold and you still have 150k when the avg stack is 80k in the mtt with 220 left but i dont see a shove here any comments on that thought here???
gg bro
p.s please post the follwing hand to afer this one to get some input on your 88s vs kqs for 90k -
make it 34k call ging shove
-
I don't like any of this advice. With 220 left there is no reason to even think about the final table...it's light years away. With a min bet and a min raise, I am not even sold that you do not have the best hand with top pair! I think when holding the hand that you have here, the aggressor ends up ahead long run. I make a good sized raise and will be willing to put it all in. If you flat, be prepared for a tough decision.

adler11: folds
ginggang: raises 22155 to 46155 and is all-in
xmeteorox: calls 22155
*** TURN *** [8c Kd Jc] [Qd]
*** RIVER *** [8c Kd Jc Qd] [2d]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
ginggang: shows [Kh 8s] (two pair, Kings and Eights)
xmeteorox: shows [6c Kc] (a pair of Kings)
ginggang collected 111510 from pot
well, i lost the hand.. flat call is ok, but if flush misses he is pushing so would be hard to call with only one card to come..
i think raising is better ^^ -
why would onasis think that way, don't u ever gamble when u play a tournament this long? don't u think he got a pretty good hand to gamble for 50% of his stack after 2 weak bets? they got plenty of fold equity after xmeteorox pushed all in with a monster plus as the other guy said there is no reason to think about final table, u gotta have at least 1.3 millions to make it to the final table. With top pair plus 13 outs im down to gamble anytime cause sometimes thats what it takes to make a final table.
-
well i do gamble a lot but with the stacksize he had i dont agree the shove here at all opponent could have a set or even a nut flsuh draw meaning even if you hit your flush you dont know if its even good or maybe he hit a small set and you again behind i just found with his stack he can wait for a better spot to get his chips in the middle and about foldequity most of thoose players in a 3r have no clue about foldequity why race a donkey who doesnt understand mtt theory????

dude this is a standard fold i can't believe some of these responses =/
edit: aw nvmmmm didnt see the flush draw :) -
shove or fold, i dont think you can do it any other way!
although your play is pretty transparent as a flush draw with a pair if you shove, it would be really hard to get away from. Folding just seems bad becuz you know it is so unlikely to be up against a set here. obv being up against 2 pair sucks, but I think I shove this most of the time unless I know villain to be super super tight. even then i only fold like 20%. -
