    Just wonderin what peoples opinions are on deep stack tournaments.

    they allow for more skill and less luck. you have much more time to wait for big hands, ect. don't get too fancy early. no point in that.

    well unless its a $500+ buyin im not playing a 30 min lvl 5000 chips deepstack tournament for 10 hours.

    If your talking about semi-deepstack online tournaments like the structure for sunday tournaments then I personally have to say their the only ones I play since they give me a better chance to win then a $20 180 man sng which gives me slim chance to chip up early with the structure. I'd rather play my 12 sngs then play that crap.

    I like the deepstack tourneys on Bodog and Full Tilt. They have the same blind structure but start you off with 5k and 3k chips respectively, instead of the usual 1.5K. Bodog uses this for their nightly 25K guarantee and Full Tilt has several tourneys each day with this structure.

    It would be nice if FTP just made all their tourneys DS. The extra chips at the beginning make it so much better.
