  1. I've seen this guy minraise preflop everytime he doesn't have a great hand, being in the cutoff I re-raised to take the pot down. The guy in the BB goes all in, because I have perfect timing. I haven't made a move in 20 minutes. Anyway this leaves me $100,000 behind if I fold, but the odds on my call make me call.....

Is this the only play I should make when something like this goes this wrong?

  2. I think i let this go. the pot is laying you just over 2:1, but if you loose you have less than enough to survive 8 rounds of play; putting you in a bad place. If you fold you can still survive 14 rounds and have enough play behind you.
  3. Yeah I wish I did, however I felt obligated to play the hand out with so much in the pot. This definately cost me the tournament. When the blinds get real high I find my natural aggression lowers, but thats what got me 1st in chips. Then I realize I should be aggressive and take control of the tables with my bigstack I get hit hard.

  4. I agree totally to be the table bully when you are deep, but when you get played back at, you need to seriously consider slowing down for that hand. But in truth it was a close decision.
  5. You have to fold this hand. You're calling off almost all your chips against a 3rd raise with a hand that can only really be dominated.
