  1. If you are using a NetSpend Debit Card to fund your pokerstars account.........be warned......

If you deposit $100 or more.........Pokerstars will get an authorization code from NetSpend and then "Force Post" the same amount of money which will create two transactions and put the "DEBIT CARD" in a negative status

HERE'S THE EXPLANATION FROM POKERSTARS to show that they will pull the funds for the same transaction twice......
<blockquote><pre>a second charge for the same amount may appear on your online statement.

The original authorization does not roll off leaving one of the charges on
hold for up to seven days for purchases under $100, and for up to thirty
days for purchases over $100. For online gaming transactions NetSpend will
not remove the hold on the funds and all that can be done is to wait until
the hold expires, at which time they will return the funds to your Prepaid
    card balance automatically.</pre></blockquote>

    LATEST EMAIL TO POKERSTARS:

Well, it looks like neither <span id="lw_1227394018_0">NetSpend</span> nor <span id="lw_1227394018_1">PokerStars</span> genuinely cares other than sending form letters with no solutions other than wait 30 days for this to clear up. It is quite clear to me that PokerStars has received an authorization that the funds were available and then deposits money into my online account. Then, PokerStars conducts a forced post withdrawal without using the original authorization code and leaves a debit account in a negative status for 30 days.

WOW! If that's how you are going to treat a player of your site with well over 175,000 hands played on your site .......I guess it's <span id="lw_1227394018_2">getting to the point</span> where I need to reevaluate my relationship with your site. The way I see things, I am the customer..........I put my hard earned money on a debit card......made a deposit to your site............make another deposit on a debit card......my funds are not available to me and neither party (NetSpend nor PokerStars) will do anything to make my hard earned money available to me.

Ok........guess the ball is in my court.....message heard from PokerStars and NetSpend loud and clear.
  2. i used this method to deposit with no problems

  3. umm I deposited 500 using this not too long ago
  4. The same thing happened to me and They say the money will be released in 30 days

  5. i just deposited today and it was fine, i would be really upset though if that happened, is it the temporary debit card or the real one
