If I had bet the turn would that have shut things down on the river? Should I have rerasied on the river? TIA

  2. I don't like your call PF. It's hard to extract value out of position.
On the flop I like either leading or check-raising depending on how likely villain is to c-bet.

Turn as played: I think you should try to get some money in here. You could have free-rolled Blackfives if you could have gotten it all-in.

River as played: I would have led out. There are some hands that will pay you off that will be scared to bet. Once you checked, I think you needed to check-raise. Were you scared of a bigger flush?
  3. thanks for the input. I think with the risk I took you are correct that I played the turn the worst here. I made the pre-flop call for value, I did not feel the UTG would reraise, just call.
The pre-flop agressors weak bet on the flop had to make me think what they were playing with. personally, I am protecting my flopped set on this type of flop, I had an easy call for value on the flop bets so felt fine there. I did not read the turn properly, I was now the one supposed to be protecting their hand. I relied too much on someone betting something if I checked.

Your river comment is on mark. I do not have the nutz here, but a flush is obviously the best hand one way or another. Having unders I decided to not risk the 2nd to act also having a flush with a higher hold card. With the amount of time we have to think online it was hard to decide to raise or not so I stayed safe. If I was playing live, I would have thought it thorugh more per step and am pretty sure I would have bet the turn for about 2/3 the pot and made a pot size lead out bet on the river.
