  1. i.e. sites that track "profitability", like advanced pokerdb and official poker rankings.com -- I gather they get their info through screen scraping the lobby results, so does that really artificially inflate "net profits" since they can't tell how many times a player has actually rebought? ..
  2. ...bump. Anyone know that answer to this, or is it a dumb question because there's no way they could track this data? Nat?

  3. (I'm guessing, btw)
they typically give the person the average rebuy amount.....example:

if there were 100 people, 400 rebuys, and 50 add-ons in a $100 buyin rebuy MTT.
    550 total buyins/ 100 people= 5.5
each person is credited for 5.5 buyins....for the maniacs this helps their #s a bit, but the tight guys it might hurt a bit.

In all honesty though, this isn't a huge indicator because at the 100 buyin level, I don't think you have too many crazy idiots.

If someone is finishing top 3 in a trny, they are turning a huge profit, if they are doing it consistently----then this discrepancy is simply irrelevant to an outsider. It would only be useful for the individual looking at improving his own game.
