Do I make this call at a FT?

    Final table of the FT $50/50k. Hadn't played many hands with the raiser. I had become card dead at the FT and was down about 50k since the FT started. Based on pokerdb, it was a pretty strong final table so realistically I didn't expect to be able to outplay everyone (even though I read PD religiously). Do I have to make this call? Results will follow. Thanks.

    Tough decision. I might make this call considering he is a short stack and may be pushing with anything there and you are also pretty short which means that you need pick a spot but this is tough. I guess if you are trying to win I call but if you wanna move up fold.

    lol @ he can be making this move with anything... hes got 12bbs and is not that short yet... Id say his range here is something like 66+AJ+ and thats assuming hes very very loose and starts shoving waaay too early. If im in his position im only shoving AQs+88+ there with his stack. For me this is an instafold considering the shover is in EP and shoving more than he has to. I guess u can take KK and AA out of his range, cuz hes probably minraise it or try to induce action some way.. Im only calling TT+ and AK here.

    oh and btw. ur still in good shape, so no need to try to force anything by gambling for 80% of ur stack CALLING it off hoping for a race

    Thanks very much for the responses. I ruled out AA, KK and likely AK figuring that he would try to induce a re-raise with those hands. The first mistake I made was deciding to call off my stack in the hopes that he was pushing AJ. My second mistake was in my read ...

    I agree w/annette here..he prolly has JJ,QQ,or KK and u really dont want to think AK or AA...anyway AQ there is a shitty hand to be callin an allin risking to much. GLD if u did sir.
