  1. just finished up a cash game session and this question came up;

    how do you change up your strategy towards players that are willing to call any size preflop bet from any position and then simply call down to the river?

    this hand prompted my question;

    i realize it's a penny table. if you could be so kind as to start another thread for those jokes i would appreciate it. otherwise, what kind of adjustments can a person make when on a table of calling stations. i look forward to hearing your thoughts.
  2. hmm....looks like i should have continued my betting on the turn...

  3. value bet any decent hand to death, don't try to bluff.
  4. not big even reraise preflop.

  5. a. this is how penny tables always are

    b. if u know they are not going to fold then dont cont. bet with ak

  6. you guys both checked the turn, and he led out on the river...how is this considered calling every street?
  7. I play those tables, and have found, c-bets rarely work. This is a play for better players than you will find at that level, and it's hard to c-bet into more than one person. But if I do c-bet, make it closer to 1/2 the pot, if they fold 1/3 the time you break even. If I c-bet and dont chase them off, and dont hit on the turn, I'm done betting the hand. But keep in mind, if you hit, they will pay you off big.
    It also depends on your table image, If you have been playing LAG, your c-bets wont get as much respect
    But for the most part, just abc poker at these levels, they dont know enough to respect higher level moves

  8. peddle the nuts and value bet all the way
