do u have to call here? i know pot odds say u do...But his thinking is if i have a K he needs to go runner runner...SO MY QUES.... DO U HAVE TO CALL HERE? I think he made the right fold and im glad he did cause a fold means i cant loose...lol

Easy fold to me. He got caught, and like you said, he probably has to go runner-runner. No point in throwing away 1/6 of his remaining stack on a prayer in a tournament situation. Lay it down and stop the bleeding.
And pot odds aren't just overrated in tournament situations... sometimes they're downright useless -
Pot odds are never useless. If you think so, you don't really understand how to use them.

Pot odds are always useful in cash games. In tournament situations there are times when pot odds should be ignored in favor of surviving. Unless you're a tournament theorist with the "numbers above all else" mentality, it's hard to argue that pot odds justified a call in this situation.
EDIT: In my humble opinion :D -
pot odds r overrated and overrused on many cases...alotta online players thinks thats what its all about and make some horrendous calls.
