do visa prepaids work in for a deposit option

    just wondering if visa prepaids or visa gift cards work as deposit onto fulltilt or pokerstars

    Depends on the VISA, so thats not always true. Vanilla Mastercard works on both sites tho guaranteed. Can get them at Blockbuster or Shoppers Drugmart (dont know if u have those in the USA)

    we have rid aid and wallgreens they are drug stores, i should be able to buy them, what do you do to get one the vanilla mastercards do you buy it and then call a number to put money on it or something? or do you tell the cashier how much you want on it and then pay him/her? how do they work.

    I finally have a little spare money so I want to throw so cash on my FT account. Does the Vanilla MC still work? Just want to know before I head up to Walgreens.

    Yeah, nothwithsatnding the information provided above, from my reading of the subject, none of the prepaid cards work for the United States at this time. But once you have a prepaid card, you can go to Gift Card Trading forum on another site and likely can trade it for PS/FTP Cash. Good Luck at the Tables

    PS.. DO NOT TRY to deposit using Netspend card in US!!!! That will 100% not work and may cause them to suspend card

    Its OK though, once you have a prepaid card or Netspend, people will trade with you for Poker Site cash.

    I wanted to add, the Vanilla Card was what I used for depositing on Bodog, using the "prepaid calling card" option. I bought another card to reload and I noticed a new thing on it that says for use in the US only. So now it won't work with these alternative deposit methods. It will not work with any processor outside of the US.

    I think that any card with a VISA or Mastercard logo will NOT work in the US. They have a very strict policy reguarding gambling sites and it will not work!!! Best bet is to find a friend who has money on one of the sites and pay him the cash for a transfer. You can also use Westerm Union to deposit on Poker stars, hefty fee though... buth then you can trade that PS cash for FT cash on this sites official money transfer forum, it will be a snap. GL

    Yeah, just to clarify, I was speaking of FTP/PS as far as prepaids not working. But it is a fluid situation and anything is possible. And much of the information has gone underground...
