  1. For those who try to schedule set times for playing poker, or at least having a preferred time to play, what is it? I generally find myself playing late at night usually, just because it's quieter and that makes it a lot easier for me to just focus on playing, with less distractions. How about you?
  2. Evening/night local-time. The simple reason is because that's when the tournaments run!
  3. My thoughts exactly, but if I do play at a different time, I always try and be awake 2-3 hrs, fully showered and had a cup of coffee. I will usually eat at first hr. break.

  4. happy hours on tilt... dont care so much about the ftps as theyre nearly worthless even before they affect your rakeback, but theres usually more action around those times.
  5. For me I will play whenever I get a chance which has not been often enough lately. However, I do find that normally I end up playing later at night. As another poster mentioned it is quieter so I can concentrate on the game. Also the kids are in bed so I do not have a six year old trying to get my attention.
  6. Anytime after the sun goes down. Don't like playing when the sun is up at the casino either, don't know why but I prefer the night =).
  7. While I am not completely against playing poker during the daytime, it is a secret to nobody that I far prefer playing at night, largely for the reasons that I have already mentioned in my earlier post. Staying focused on the game is everything to me, which means I can't risk distractions.

  10. on week days i like to start at 17:00 and register until either 20:00 or 21:30, and i love sundays the best even though ive never done better then 10th in a major

  11. monday morning
  12. One thing that I really like about playing at night is that the games seem more laid back to me, although everyone is still very focused on getting some wins out there. More than anything, I like to play my poker for fun...and as long as I get a few good hands a night, I am perfectly content with myself.

Well, I don't! What is the point in playing Monday morning, especially if you had been up all night and have bloodshot eyes, and then have work in a few hours? I have been there too many times, and it still is never fun with poker or without. You get that tired, and you'd probably fall asleep while playing!

  16. For some reason I enjoy poker a lot in the morning like 9am or 10am it just feels good to be playing online poker at that time. Too bad I rarely am up that early for poker.

  17. 6pm central time is the best time to start for midstakes imo
  18. day time is so soft, yet the bigger tournies are at night. If I had to choose between day or night, I would choose night. But, if I had the time I would try and play once or twice during a weekday starting at like 1 est and go straight through the fifty fifties.
