I havent used the remember password option in a long time, with the logic that if I ever lost my laptop someone could log into my account with ease. But now that I think about it, is it safer to just use the remember password button? Would that eliminate the risk of getting your password keylogged/hacked/etc...?

Password protect your entire computer, and immediately call pokerstars to lock your account if you lose your computer.

what do you mean by password protect?

Yes and so does the guy who stole my laptop.
Finger print scanner FTW -
Start -> Control Panel -> Accounts or Users (I don't remember what the exact name is).

when you boot your pc and it asks for your password at start up...

I guess this would really depend on the risks that you forsee. If no one is ever in your house, then maybe you have no worries from this, and the off chance that someone keylogs your password (which I would think is likely a pretty low percetage if you aren't a ranked player, since it's not worth a hackers time to single you out).
That being said, I think it's 1,000x more likely that one of my nieces or nephews will come into the house, and get on the computer (and possibly enter some large room thinking it's play money) than it is for someone to steal my psssword via keylogger and wipe out my meager online bankroll. -
ahhh duh. I dunno why but I was thinking more along the lines of one of those password storing programs. thanks
