    Question: since the A was unlikely to hit his hand, would make a 1/3 pot sized value bet on the river to induce a weak J to call? I think a weak J was his most likely holding, so in theory, he should call down a 500ish sized bet on the river..thoughts?
     
  2. I think both checking or betting might be ok. I check because I don't know how often a weaker j will call after you've bet it the whole way and it isn't the easiest call ever if he raises, but the way he played it it's pretty safe to say you have the best hand unless he's tricky.
