    NLHE or LHE games that use any of the following in addition to the normal SB and BB:

    (1) Antes
    (2) Extra blind(s)
    (3) Mandatory straddle
    (4) Optional straddle

    If such games exist, where may they be found?

    If such games do not exist, why don't they? After all, consider:

    (A) Playing more loosely is more fun
    (B) Higher variance is attractive for those desiring a big win
    (C) More action means more rake for the sites
    (D) Hold'em is getting to the point where it would be nice to stir the pot a little to get some fresh scenarios to think about strategically
    (E) Enough people have watched High Stakes Poker, etc. to make this idea "mainstream" enough to be widely accepted (not like a totally new oddball game)

    It's a good idea but I actually feel the general public considers those things to be kinda wierd and "out of their league" for lack of a better way to put it. I'd e-mail the sites you play at to ask them this exact question and propose they start having those kind of games if you haven't already. Despite the bull crap we've been seeing from Absolute, I still feel the vast majority of the time the sites want to give the public whatever it's interested in.
