Shit, I basically never play stud... but how many times can my rolled up 10s and Js and Ks NOT hold? Was my betting all fucked up here or did it just not matter? These players had been betting and raising with 2 small pair and showing it down constantly. I put 123 on two pair and cardinal on either rolled up 8s or AA8. I wasnt afraid of cardinal having a straight with the Ks in 123's hand showing and my 10s already taken. I guess with this table being so loose I had a hard time putting either of these players on bigger sets. So should I have folded... and if so... on what street?

  2. If you are going to play stud or stud h/l, just stick to cash games
  3. Unfortunately, I think that way too many people who have picked up Stud or Omaha games after playing Hold Em have a tendency to play way too many hands, and chase things down. I think you played this right, its just that its hard for people to lay down.

In this hand, Eva had no reason to be in after 4th street (yes, she had 3 hearts, but no pair or any other draws). She caught her runner Kings on 5th and 6th street - and I'd have no problem playing against someone chasing this down because in the long run, they'll pay you off (especially when they catch the 2 pair).

Cardinal on the other hand played this fine. QQ below, and after wayyner folded the A, felt like he had top pair, and if he could catch 2 pair or 3rd Q, be in good shape. His str8 draw also looked dangerous, except that you had 3 of his outs.

You did a good job limiting the losses after Cardinal caught his trips - just a bad beat.
