  1. If i'm playing stars only my computer runs fine no matter how many tables. But if i open FTP and jump on tables there (even just one it seems like, or if i even open their client), everything starts jamming up. And if i try to open the HH replayer on FTP in middle of games it's all over, not a chance. My computer is relatively new and this'll happen even if the poker clients and HEM are the only things I have running at the time. Anyone else have this problem??? Or any ways to fix it???

  2. i had this happen and did some housekeeping in my PT3 and it seemed to help.
  3. How much ram do you have in your computer, prob your biggest leak. FTP client takes up nearly 5x as much ram as stars client, and goes up relatively by a table on each site. So the amount of ram that it takes to run 1 table on stars, costs 5x as much on tilt. Another thing I noticed is that once the ram goes up from opening all those tables, after you close them, it doesn't go back down. So if you leave stars/tilt open for days at a time, it's likely that this would also slow down your computer and hog up the ram.
  4. Windows sucks Mac FTW imo
  5. ty going to do some cleanup in my HEM and see if that helps, my database is around 700k hands so prolly has something to do with it :-/

hustla, i checked and found out i have 3gigs of RAM, which seems a bit low when i look online and see new laptops coming out with 8gigs as standard. what do you think would be the minimum RAM requirement to run say 10 tables on stars, 6 tables FTP, Holdem Manager, Skype, and 3 windows of Firefox all at the same time while not making any sacrifices in quality??

it's interesting to me that FTP takes up 5x as much memory as Stars; their software never did seem to run as smoothly and for a long time i have cut Full Tilt almost completely out b/c of this. for instance today i watched myself time out at 8 different tables all b/c i opened a HH on full tilt, i mean talk about frustrating on a sunday.

is it standard to just purchase more RAM online or what's the best way to go about increasing RAM for existing computers??? thanks a lot for any help :)

  6. How do you "clean up" HEM? I was experiencing this same problem in the middle of the grind today and its very frustrating when shit gets laggy. Especially because FullTilt's timebank fucking sucks.
  7. For the past few mos. FT does temporarily slow up my computer (while it's loading). Oddly enough it doesn't do this on my older Dell (but does on the new one?).
  8. Oh so I'm not the only one that experiences this.

I thought it was my macbook not handling multiple tables well, but I guess this is not just my issue.
