    Poker Stars - $33 HORSE Tornement 1545hrs - September 14th 2008

    Down to the last three players and a deal was suggested between Ekaiser, huskmusk and me to which I finally agreed. We all had about 200,000chips on Limit Holdem and 10k/20k blinds.

    Ekaiser and I ticked the sit out box and huskmusk did not, with the result that Ekaiser and I started to get blinded off. We tried in vain to get huskmusk to sit out but he appeared to pretend not to know where the sit out box is.

    Because of the blinds Ekaiser and I lost about half our stack whist the tournement director was contacted. We continued, only then for huskmusk to state that he had too many chips to do a deal ( he had about 400,00 and Ekaiser and I had 100,000 each).

    When the tournement arrived to discuss the deal, Ekaiser was knocked out I explained what had happened. The tournement director said we should sit out. Trouble was I was mid hand with 2BB left with top pair and Jack kicker after the flop, which went in on the Turn. Game over as huskmusk had a better kicker.

    Skipper 17 ( came 5th )witnessed this and joined the chorus with such words as " Cheat "

    Following a email discussion pokerstars advised:
    "Please note that PokerStars cannot enforce tournament chops or deals made in chat while a PokerStars Host is not present. Such deals should be considered gentlemen's agreements, bound only by the honour of the individuals making them".

    Moral of the story - deals don't exist until Tornement director arrives and huskmusk is a cheat

    after one hand of him not sitting out why didnt ya sit back in ? cant just sit there as he takes your blinds.

    I learned this same harsh lesson last week. The late-night $55 8k guaranteed turbo on stars. Was down to heads up with a guy, 1st was 3k, 2nd was about 2100, he verbally agreed to chopping when we were even in chips. I sat out, he never did, and after losing two blinds, I jumped back in, only to see him respond that he didn't know how to chop the difference, and then didn't say anything or respond at all. I ended going from 50-50 to 35-65 in chip count because of this, being a turbo, it was a costly mistake. Anyways, I will never discuss a chop again unless someone else is sitting out or we are on a break...Lesson learned!!!

    Lessoned learned. But what you do is to slow play and ask them to hit the sit out button quickly so that they "know" where it is.

    This is so retarded, you 2 sit out and the other guy does not. It's your your own retarded faults for continuing to sit out and letting the guy steal blinds, how dumb can you be????

    That's pretty lame the third guy didn't respect this gentleman's agreement to sit out, but I'm surprised you guys didn't sit back in after an orbit...

    "Hey, sit out Huskmusk."

    "I can't find the button."

    "Damn, he got our blinds, Ekaiser. Should we sit back in?"

    "No, maybe he'll find the button this round."

    "Doh, he got us again."

    "Sit out huskmusk."

    "Damnit, he got us again!"

    "What should we do?"

    "I dunno, I hope the tourney director gets here soon."

    Reminds me of the 3 way even chop we agreed on in a 109 all 3 of us sitting and blinds going up and this douche who agreed sat in and started robbin.

    The rail let him have it good at least, tx railbirds.

    few weeks ago i got same thing, only i wasnt able to sit in when it happend i was gone to toillet when waiting for the host (we all sat out)when i came back few min later i was from 2nd in chips to lowstack....and next out .....no more deals for me ......play to win that the way it should anyway.
    p.s when i busted the Host arrived and they made a HAPPY and better deal.
