  2. This is why I don't play AJ from EP.

I hate the donk lead also, and a raise is usually enough to spook them out of the hand. The reraise lets you know you're beat, just lay it down.

Every now and then I will just flat the weak lead and use my position, esp if my hand is vulnerable. With a weakish ace and a flop that could've made him a straight or 2 pair out of the blinds, I would tend to do this and raise with a stronger hand than AJ.
  3. barring any unusual play, your always beat here.

I wouldn't not play it, but I rarely - unless shorthanded or at a tight table - raise with it in that position. Keeps it easy to get away from. Too often you end up in a situation where you raise 3x or so and one or two people call, pricing in the blinds - and then you have no idea where you're at with a fairly marginal holding.
  5. I dont think there is much wrong with raising AJ preflop here. With so many loose players and a good chance that you will be called with worse raising preflop is fine IMO. (as long as you can get away from it in a spot like this)

With the action on the flop tho it is a definate fold.
