  1. Everything went about as well as expected on day 1 of my recovery program. If your not sure of what I'm talking about, feel free to refer to an earlier post. http://www.pocketfives.com/A7445073-...24B60E830.aspx No real setbacks to speak of. Before entering anymore tournaments I had decided to write all kinds of notes to myself. Some of them said things like, "2-2 isn't the nuts you jack ass!", "don't allow yourself even one donk, even though it's the holiday's!", "just because 9-7 soooted works for bax, doesn't mean it'll work for you.", "one hand at a time, one day at a time". Just little reminders here and there to keep me in the right frame of mind (even though its small).

I decided to enter the pokerstars $150. I felt that the quicker I get back on that donkey the better. I was short stacked almost the entire tourney. I absolutely had no room to jockey my donkey ass. It was one of those tournaments where I never saw the two thousands. Skipped right over those to the three thousands. Never really saw the four, five, or six thousands either. Skipped straight to the sevens, and so on. Shortstacked almost the entire way. Occasional suckout here and there (primarily the result of being shortstacked, not being a donkey). I was winning all races too. (I traded that mule for a set of horseshoes apparently). At the end I did push with 9-9, but I felt I had some fold equity even though I was slightly ss. I thought there was probably a 50/50 chance of a fold (Cut off raise, I reraised all in from the button). He called off 1/3 of his chips with K-Q getting around 2-1 on the pot, spiked a K on the flop, gg me. 14th place. Could have gone either way. I didn't feel too bad about this move irregardless of the result. Anyways I'm going to try and stay on the wagon today, tomorrow, the next day, etc. One hand at a time, one day at a time.

*Also please remember, in this wireless world we live in during this holdiay season, if you're going to donk, please don't drive!
