    But that was hardly a speed bump. I know its been an inconvenience and people are having some troubles shipping their dough but damn, the most anyone was hurt was 27% (that was Bodog, now with 3-5 day checks I bet that goes down). Against the curve FTP and UB/Absolute seem to be coming out of this best.

    I have to tell you this is a great sign. We obviously aren't out of the woods but certainly things should appear more optimistic to people. There are no shortage of games and while it is a bit inconvenient, I am not quitting. I don't see anyone else doing it either.

    Certainly there will be more news coming and we will take that shit head on too. The reason we will is because this is our fuckin house. This is what we do. This is how we roll. Keep arresting people. Keep making an ass of yourselves. We will be voting your asses out in 2 years.

    tired of all the negativity. I said it when this Neteller/Citadel stuff happened if we can get past this time, this is their best punch.

    They wouldn't have needed to do all this Hollywood shit if they could have actually been able to stop transactions and banks aren't trying to help them.

    In our defense the options did suck. Though I did vote for Kerry and Gore.

    It just seems like its time for our government to begin to make sense. Taking away a guys .50-1 NL before he goes to bed is just wrong.

    Yeah, my sentiments exactly. Reading this thread from Beanie gives me a warm & fuzzy feeling all over. Now if I can just get him to gimme an answer to the Skeet On A Bean theory...

    luck box: You completely missed the point. There is FAR more at stake here than just online poker. Government's role in controlling personal behavior and personal freedoms behind closed doors within one's own home is a HUGE issue. There is NO need to abolish our current government. We have the means to CHANGE our government.....and that we will.......

    It took 13 years to repeal silly and unconstitutional alcohol prohibition laws. The silly and unconstitutional online gaming laws also be defeated......nothing wrong with re-reading the Declaration of Independence during this fight....it is VERY applicable......

    well I didn't really write it last night in the throughts of overturning the government. I was more concerned with the "Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness" part. But as I read it, it occurred to me exactly how our politicians are so out of touch. Democrats and Republicans are both not exempt.

    In the meantime we will just play on in defiance, similar to the way the founding fathers felt about their oppressors. If you think its silly that I feel this way about something as simple as poker, I would ask you where does it stop?

    Beanie...I love ya man...no WAY there are enough people who feel strongly enough about this in every district to vote anyone out of office..believe me, I wish there was. I bet more people that are bitching dont even vote than you could imagine.

    Also, in many cases, especially for people with children, if youre representative/senator is in a position of power, it probably doesnt make sense to vote them out unless you are making hundreds of thousands of dollars playing.

    it doesn't matter Craig. My point was they tried to screw us and we still are playing $100 rebuys. This thread was about Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of happiness. It was about the little guy screwing the man. It was about us against them.

    Don't make it into something it isn't. I don't want to get into a discussion on politics. I just wanted to point out that in the absence of common sense we are still playing online poker.
