I am having a hard time trying to come out of my down swing.I am still playing the same hands that i played when i was on my up rise. But for some reason no matter what i bet or how i play them cards i am get 3 outers that are hitting,or one guy chasing the belly buster and getting there on the river for 90% of his money. How in gods name do you get back on track?I have taken a few days off to try to get my head str8,But then i get the itch that i need to be in the game trying to figure out what is going wrong.Any advice would be greattly appreciated.

Well, it's really only 1 of 2 things.
1) It's how you see it. You are playing well, your putting people in bad spots, and they are sucking out. That's going to happen, and there is no magical elixar, well, except one. Volume. Play enough tournaments and these things even out.
2) You aren't playing as well as you think. You are remembering the suckout hands (but you fail to remember that you use to get sucked out on when you were winning too, you just had the chips to recover). If this is the case, playing the same way will just dig you in deeper. The easiest question to see if your falling into this is, are you reacting differently now because of your downswing? Would you have pushed 66 all in over a raise in the past hoping to pick up a pot, where now you know he'll call with 10-9 suited and hit, so you don't, and then pat yourself on the back for a great laydown? -
you didn't say what you play, but i'm assuming its sngs. Only thing you can do is keep grinding, its painful for sure, but as long as you arne't making mistakes it will turn around. You could try cutting down your # of tables to make sure you aren't making mistakes and are able to focus more on end game icm.

you are correct i am plyin alot of sngs 10 tabling,i am going to cut back a few to help me focus more on there mistakes and not mine but i also play alot of 1/2 nl.

It happens to everyone, the only thing you can do is make sure that your play is not suffering because of it, casuing the swing to be worse. Another big thing, is don't look to recoup your "losses" or "get back to even" - this is one of the worst mistakes a poker player can make. Just know that there will be losing days and winning days, losing months and winning months, and that trying to recoup losses from previous sessions or games will only result in bad decisions.
The mental aspect is so huge when trying to come out of a swing, just remember to push harder when you are winning, and tap the brakes and slow down when you are losing. Most players do the opposite which often results in them losing more than (or not winning as much as) they should. I'm sure everyone has made this mistake at one point or another.
Good luck. -
