How come I have not heard anything about Doylesroom.com...The road to riches....this site is the best to play on...Many European Fishes...this site will treat you well...pay you off...
-
I played on Doyleroom for about a week four or five months ago. Unless things have changed, the lower limit games are REALLY loose, and the the graphics and speed are something to be desired. I also got hassled when it came time to cash out. Not a winner.
-
Did seem to take awhile when you requested a cash out on that site

I played there for a minute and wont go back. The beats are sick.Im not saying its rigged by no means just strange and i care not to go back. Real shame becouse i would love to support Doyle since he is "The Godfather" and probobly 95% of us have read at least 1 of his books.

I play there all the time. You're the first and only P5r I know of that does also (which suits me just fine). Although I've had a recent downswing, I've made good money there. The Euros play loose, and make lots of plays; if you go back to, say, ub - it's like playing with Granny. But, there are some very good players there. Anyone looking for a "safe" limpy environment won't like it (I'm talking cash games; the tourney offerings are not very good).
good luck -
i played there for about 2 weeks. very soft however the cashouts took forever and i had to update my firepay information and i couldnt just do it, i had to email customer service. it was flat out impossible to get someone to do it, so i took my buisness elsewhere.
whenever i see a site with poor or incompetent customer service i get very uneasy about having my money in their site. -
Exactly and 100% agreed!

I'm sorry to hear that some of you have had problems with Doylesroom customer support. I have not experienced any problems cashing out, and have only been affected once by network/server problems.
I would still recommend that cash game players at least give the site a try.
And for future reference (P5 staff might want to make a note of this), if anyone runs into a problem that they are having trouble getting resolved, I can probably help you get more timely action to resolve the issue. I am not affiliated with the site, but do have a line to a competent person there.
I think Doylesroom will continue to improve. Currently there is an interesting bounty tournament on Wednesday nights in which Doyle, Todd Brunson, and Mike Caro play with bounties for whoever knocks them out; the buy-in is $25 + 2.50 and I believe the field is running around 350. Also, on the long odds chance someone knocks out all three, there is (or was this week) a $25,000.00 bonus bounty. I don't know yet if this is going to be a weekly featured tournament or is a temporary thing.
good luck

I played at Doyle's room for the 40% bonus in April.
The bonus took FOREVER. The SnGs, especially at the lower levels, were horrendous. The players were ridiculously bad.
I just found that even at the 20 dollar level, games took forever, and I took my money off.
When I finally made enough $$ to get my bonus, I had to talk to a rep. in order to get my bonus dollars. It took something like four to five days to get my money off the site. -
Wow, very interesting replys here. Let me give you my two weeks experience on Doyles. I had been playing primarily on pokerstars low limit tourneys for 10 months. I made a grand total of 1 FT in that time. I concluded that the low limit tourneys with 1500 people the odds were just too long to make a final tables. I began searching for sites that had smaller fields im low limit tourneys. I cashed small money about half the tourneys I played the first week at Doyles. I found that Doylesroom had numerous affordable tourneys with fields usually of 100 to 200 players. This was what I was looking for. Monday I make my first final table at Doyles, Tuesday I finish 2nd in another tourney, for my best cash finish in 10 months of playing.
Since finding Doyles room I have been suggesting that low limit and good players try it.. I have at least 4 people playing there now,, One player won his first tourney there yesterday after only two days of playing the site. Another person won his very first tourney there. My wife played the cheap sitngos and increased her roll by 50% in 3 days. She played her first tourney there and finished 10th. I also have recommended the site to two other people who have joined and both are ahead.
As far as cash outs I do not know.. I do know the site is incredible easy to win on. The fields are smaller and the bad beats on average are far less than on Pokerstars. I think that is mainly because you arent playing as many hands per tourney, Tourneys only take about 2 hours to 3 hours and if you bubble at an hour and a half you havent wasted half a day like on Pokerstars where the fields are 1500 people.
Last note on Doyles. One of my friends had tried Doyles earlier and didnt like the set up, said he hated it. But he finally tried it again and said they had made a lot of improvements. So if you tried it a while back you may want to check it again. I know the site still has some annoying things,, Buddy list down, lots of refreshing to see the fields, navagation is time consuming, extra boards for the chat.. Its just that its so easy to win there Im overlooking the navigation for now.
From me ( a below average player) to a winning player on Doyles.
PS, How can you pass up the Noon 1 cent rebuy????????? Its blast.
