That is the stupidest thing I ever heard. If you slowroll in the casinos in Vegas they will not ask you to leave and never come back. What a stupid statement to make! FTard obv!

Hollywooding is when their are 3 or more players in the hand, player a) is allin, you have flopped the stone cold nuts (for eg we'll say quads), you know the other player that is in the hand has a monster, you act weaker than you really are to get them to pay you off, so its just you and player b, but with the pot of player A also.
Slowrolling, is the same as showboating. EG. you are playing a cash game and their is only you and 1 player left, you have rivered the nuts, the other player goes allin, you take your time to make the call, talk about it, and/or click time.
If you slowroll in the casinos in vegas you will be asked to leave and will never be allowed back in the cardroom, the same etiquette should be observed on-line. -
OP instead of crying about it and tilting/punting your still workable stack away; that should have given you more incentive to stay in the tourney and hopefully get him in a spot to return the favor. Instead you 3b shove A8o

Well it goes to show that you know nothing of playing in Vegas, I moved from the UK to here to continue my poker career, and I have personally seen a player be removed for showboating. I suggest you do some research on the subject before you comment on things you obviously know nothing about.

Edited By: sirjwab Jun 7th, 2010 at 04:19 AMI live in Vegas and slowrolling is not against the rules. I have slowrolled plenty and I have seen other people slowroll plenty and never once asked to leave and never return. Cause the casinos dont want you to help pay the rake because you have "Bad table etiquette". Sounds reasonable. Please tell me where someone got kicked out for bad sportsmanship at the poker table. If any I would guess MGM but even that I think is unlikely.Originally Posted by Typical

On a side note upon my latest research I have come to the conclusion that you are a douchebag!
How come you dont have your online names posted so I can see your amazing stats and add you to my slowroll list? -
Gonna have to back up sirjwab
I also live in Vegas and have played tons of hours live and I've seen maybe 4 or 5 slowrolls. No one has ever been asked to leave since slow rolling is not against the rules. Bad etiquette , sure , but most deff nothing the casino staff can do to you. -
Do you hate the MGM as much as I do working out here? They kicked me out for drinking my shots of jager (Which they served on ice) too quickly.

I have seen players removed from the bellagio, ceasers and the Aria all for slowrolling. It is just the same as if you swear at the table, no matter who too, its not allowed and you can be removed. Just to prove a point, ill be in bellagio tuesday night if you want to come along, play a little 5-10 with me, then we can ask the cardroom manager if its allowed, what do you say?
The reason I dont have my details for my online accounts, is purely because i dont play online poker at any level higher than .25/.50 because of such reasons we are talking about, so what do you say, you wanna PM me your email so we can sort out a game, or are you 'out of town' for the night? -
You're right I just said I live in Vegas to sound cool. You're a tool bro. I am not the only person that said you are full of shit that lives in Vegas. If youve seen people getting kicked out I highly doubt it was simply because they slow rolled. Quit making up stories brah!

LOL at having that rule posted at the front of the poker rooms cause I have never seen that either. The only things posted in a poker room are tourny info/ jackpot rules. -
LOL they cant tell a guy that he isnt allowed to play in a LADIES ONLY event, but they can kick you out for taking to long before flippin over your winning hand. Logical

ALL poker rooms have their rules put up on the wall, weather you see them or not is not my problem. So, ill PM you my email addy and you can email me and we can arrange a time on tuesday night/wed am........if you dont mind being proven wrong that is. ....

Why? Is it just people that make logical arguments? The use of punctuation and paragraph structure found amusing?
Really confused at the childish response, and just don't understand the point of "lol"-ing w/out explanation or rebuttal to the points made.
I thought kowboy was spot on myself. -
LOL @ being kicked out of a casino for slow rolling somebody
-
Man this guy really wants to meet me! Whats next sweetheart you invite me to dinner and dancing? Sorry I dont swing that way. Not a single person on this whole forum has agreed that you can get kicked out of a casino for slowrolling. But I am sure you have way more experience and knowledge than the rest of us!

Hahahahahaha that was an awesome fucking blog, A+++

Dammy...... shhhheeshhh.... If i make it that deep in a tourney with a REAL payout.........ONLINE?? Go right ahead and slowroll your a$$ off!!!
Pretty new to this online poker thing. But ive seen grumpy old men slug it out for slowrolling. But they dont know any better! Its just a mental joust at your opponent! Plus maybe he was watching porn while playing? Spilled a beer on the keyboard? Or even one-eyed hookers were running around the pc and tripped on the mouse cord! Who knows? Theres no reason to be pissy.
+ive never seen a rule about slowrolling in casinos...EVER, but ive seen one-eyed hookers in AC! -

I'm way late to the thread, but I had a serious WTF moment when I saw all the people supporting slow rolling. Spreadicus is a good guy and was venting about someone pulling a jack ass move on him. If you are a fan boy of the guy that slow rolled him that doesn't make the slow roll any more right than any other time.
That being said, I will prob slow roll Spreadicus next time I'm given the chance. :D
