  3. I would love to see some of the people supporting slow rolling attempt that in a live game, especially a deep stacked cash game in a big pot - maybe in a home game where they don't feel protected by the confines of the casino.

I really hope that there is a lot of leveling going on in this thread that I am just missing b/c I'm jet lagged today.
  4. FWIW I totally get slowrolling in a hand when you know the other person relatively well, even if it's just knowing them online. But it's just bad to be slowrolling randoms a lot, for a lot of reasons (not including balancing your slowroll range).

Almost never happens live for obvious reasons unless it's between friends or drunks screwing around. Same as the guys saying DIAGF or whatever else, most of them are pussies and would never say that shit live. I still thought the slowroll was funny though wp wp!!!

  7. dpottz said hi to me and gl at our table last night in the 10K super turbo on FT. ended up third(shamless brag) for 1100+ which is a big score for me, and i give dpottz credit for letting thr rungood rub off on me...:) im a fan
  8. Slowrolling is a slap in the face. If that's funny, I don't get it. But then some people laugh themselves silly watching the 3 Stooges.

Really confused at the childish response, and just don't understand the point of "lol"-ing w/out explanation or rebuttal to the points made.

I thought kowboy was spot on myself.

lol @ you too. guy said he doesn't play cus of the ppl he plays against, BULLSHIT. he doesn't play cus he sucks and you agree with him for likely the same exact reason.

No, I concurred with him given the ample logic illustrated. He even admitted to not being as good as the HSMTT regs, and explained that this was in fact not the reason why he left the game. Dude can afford to lose, but chooses to avoid the games given the douchery. (Which I'm now finding to be a good reason to avoid the forums too.)

poker is WAR and this obv screwed the rest of your game, no offense, but when I'm at a final table especially, you are all computer opponents on my playstation and I'm trying to beat the whole game
  13. nerdy pencilneck geek, picked on in school playground, leans poker, becomes instant cool guy, takes revenge on the world behind their screen w a slowroll.
Nothing surprises me online anymore. Humans pretty much suck imo (at least a large percentage of ones playing online poker).

OP, expect the worst & you won't be surprised.

I also live in Vegas and have played tons of hours live and I've seen maybe 4 or 5 slowrolls. No one has ever been asked to leave since slow rolling is not against the rules. Bad etiquette , sure , but most deff nothing the casino staff can do to you.

LOL.. pretty sure it's not the casino staff you'd need to concern yourself with.

Karma's always a good thing. I'd like to see a player disconnect while in the midst of slowrolling someone. That'd be perfect imo.

Oddly enough I've never been slowrolled playing live poker??

haha gonna have to work this into my slowroll game, hit them w/ the disconnect bank as well, thats like slowroll ^2

  17. lolz @ the people saying they don't play because they might get slowrolled by a meany, wa wa fucking waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, yeah, we believe that one, lololol.

and again, lol @ the little girls whining about getting slowrolled, change your expectations, lower your frustration, better life?

why would you ever let someone else "make" you feel any particular emotion? you are deciding to be mad, why? because you want to be mad? that's OK if you say yes but I doubt most people start their day off thinking, "I wanna get unreasonably pissed-off at something a random does to me today simply because I can't control what I feel about what people I don't know are doing in my life. And I will do this at a really bad time for me and possibly lose lotsa equity when I am down to the final three in a big tournament."

remember, you are making the decision to react to a stimulus the way you do, no one makes you feel anything, it's your decision, so why blow-up? how's that working for you?

this lol, i play heads up sometimes with friends and its basically the goal of the game to slowroll somoene... its gotten to the point where if one of us clicks time you can 100% assume you ran into it, I've countered this trend by beginning to time bank my easy decisions throughout the match, to balance my slow rolling range, and try and salvage the sting

i think slow rolling is hilarious personally, even more so when it happens to me, just a change of pace and emotion in an otherwise boring day grinding... don't think i've ever gotten mad about it, if it happens in a huge spot deep in a tournament it'll take 10 seconds or so for me to see the humor, but its surely there

  19. If you can't have a laugh at getting slowrolled, you aren't having enough fun playing poker, and should probably give it up.
