Last time I was in monte carlo which was a few years ago. the men needed to be in suits and the women in dresses. Might be changed now. hope this helps.

I think the Aviation Club in Paris does, Monte Carlo might be the same. You should buy Google then hire someone to google it for you.

That looks like yahoo>P5s. Unless you googled your way to yahoo.

Just dress as if you were James Bond on his way to the high stakes Baccarat table with Pussy Galore on one arm and Plenty 0'Toole on the other.

The only reason I ever yahoo is because they have naked women in their images, and google has some sort of moral dillema with nudie pics in their image search.

hmm, most pf the advice in this thread is wrong (but some of it quite funny).
for the record: the poker tournament is not held at the casino royale, but at the events area of the monte carlo bay hotel (the famous Jimmy'Z nightclub is in the same complex = venue for the opening party). the poker room dress code is relaxed, no jackets, ties or smart trousers are needed, but some degree of decorum is expected. similarly Jimmy'Z relax their usual jackets for gentlemen policy for the opening party and allow jeans, no jackets, etc...
the monte carlo bay hotel is quite relaxed too and has a nice indoor + outsoor pool area and outdoor dining area, all very relaxed.
if, however, you want to go to some of monte carlo's many fancy restaurants (the best of which = louis xv at the hotel de paris) then you will need a jacket, smart trousers, smart shirt and possibly a tie. same dress code applies for the casino royale. the other two more accessible/fun casinos (sun and american) have a more relaxed dress code. the american bar at the hotel de paris requires jackets (no ties) and is a very stylish place to go for a cocktail before dinner in the casino square area (such as at cafe de paris, which doesnt require jackets)
cliff notes advice:
1) casual is fine at the bay hotel, in the poker tourny area, at the sun and american casinos and in many mid-range restaurants such as cafe de paris
2) smart incl jacket is needed at the casino royale, high-class restaurants and the american bar -
go there and wear a suit with tie and everything, it looks nice and sexy etc imo

life gets rough sometimes.
