Im interested in the though process in this hand especially on river. Is Durr'scheck raise on the river for value or a bluff...and then why does CCourse just flat him with the nuts....couldn't he raise and still create the illusion of fold equity for durr.....? Or is the check there better served so that when he does raise all in on boards like that durr may call him down lightly knowing he occassionaly just flats a river raise with a single card broadway? I was pretty surprised to see the hands they showed up with after the betting.

The Rake is the reason he doesn't re-raise. He only gets called by a Jack so there is no point in raising here.
-
wtf? are you joking?
-
collusion obviously, they dont want to pay a higher rake
-
LOLOLOLOL. You know the rake is fixed at .50c right?
He flatted with the nuts.....nice.
Oh and Durrs CR is obviously as bluff. -
bluff
-
Flatting with the nuts is really bad, sure he only gets paid when its a chop but what if Durr is multitabling and misclicks accidents happen.
-
yeah either he wanted to see what durr had, or just figured it was a chop
and lol @ rake comment.... -
Very good point with wanting to see what Durr has.
-
its still a pathetic mistake imo...
if durr calls reraise, or shoves, then ok you prob both have the nuts... if he folds to the reraisee(which he obv does) then you can rest assure its a bluff. -
I like the play, he's never gonna get a call unless it's a split so why not take the free information. He can see what hand he he called with on the flop, bet on the turn when it was checked to him, and then check-raise on the river.
Flat calling with the nuts is nearly always a mistake but the only value left on this hand is the information on an opponents play.
