    PixKim has made some odd plays already but is there anyway this is a call?

    Immediately with his check I thought JJ was definetely possible as well as AK as you can see I folded and no its not because I care about the 1k buy in. (If bored feel free to rail the final table of FTOPS 11...ONE TIME!!!!!!)

    You're "supposed" to be chopping at best here, but I'd consider a call if she's really bad.

    Probably a good fold though.

    A guy reraises you preflop and you check behind on flop? Are you kidding? You should just save money by quitting poker.

    yea this was my thought too. I edited my post but shoulda just left it. The check behind on flop seems really bad

    The only reason I checked behind was because I honestly thought he had AK or JJ when the Q hit the turn I thought I may of let him get there with QQ and if so my check behind on the flop was awful. But the way I see it is if I bet the flop and get raised i'm in the same position as I am with checking behind wondering if we are at best chopping or he has JJJ. And for the person who said quit poker you are probably right, it took some of the sickiest s*** i've ever seen for me not to close the FTOPS 11 tonight and only get 4th for 16.5k.

    Kenny and everyone else who seriously replied I appreciate the resonses.

    Also I did go out to the same player with almost the exact situation: I had AQ on button I raised PixKim three bets in bb, I decide if i hit an AQ i'm gettin the money and feeling good about it. I call and see a beautiful rainbow flop of Q 4 2 he bets, I push he snap calls with Q4 off....so who the f knows what he had in the first hand. GL to all still in the 1k.

    If those are the types of "odd plays" you saw him making you played the first hand badly, and I'd call river for one.

    Agreed about the check behind otf. And again, you aren't supposed to be beating anything hear UNLESS villain is a complete retard. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess.

    There is nothing wrong with the way you played the hand with one exception, you have no idea where you really stand here. Because of how passively you played this hand I would say the river is a must call.

    If I am the villain in this spot there is no way I put you on a strong A, at best as the villain vs your line I'm putting you on like AT (in which case I'm prob not betting, but with your hand I just don't see how this river isn't a call).

    I was just gonna mention PixKim is a maniac and I don't think i'd fold to shove there given the line you took, he is one of those.. weakness! i bets!!!! type of players (not saying he isn't good, just will always be very aggro when opp takes a 'weak' line)

    nice work on tourney tho.
