think he has the straight flush 100% of the time here? Minoironman is sitting with almost $200 behind as well so why shove so much without the str flush? -
LOL WUT? I never fold here, ever.
EDIT: why did you limp 10 10? -
one of the better level posts as of late IMO
-
oh yeah, ummm what country was this guy from? Cuz If he's European, I can't get the money in fast enough. They mostly can't read boards and stuff.
-
First of all, raise pre or else you will have 27 see a free flop and hit 2 pair.
As played, call river.
why would he shove a straightflush and risk not getting called? Allthough I do see morons overbetting the nuts so often (and even bigger morons calling).
He needs 9d or 4d5d to beat you. I think he has a flush or maaaaybe even a smaller boat. Call and if he has one of said hands just facepalm and reload. -
If I read this correctly you limped early position 7 handed with 1010 (ooops)...
Villian checks the BB and your somewhat in the dark becasue of your preflop play
You bet becasue you still ahead a large % of the time
You turn the nuts and bet light
Villain still tries to pay you off despite leaks along the way...
Why is this a fold ever? You have the nuts 99.9% of the time and are contemplating a fold against a range that only includes quads and a straight flush.
Hands you have to put him on 87, 9x 7x, xdxd, He likley raises any pair pre.
Im snap calling in my sleep dreaming i had a deeper stack, if im losing to either of these hands im snap reloading just as quick. -
Just a well played 1/2 hand all the way around.
-
Please tell me you didn't fold here. Call for sure.
I'm guessing you did call and he did show the str.flush and now you're being results orientated and posting the hand here to see if you should have folded. You definitely shouldn't. -
EDIT: deleted, i thought this was .5/1.
Call. -
Good god. Raise pre. And wtf is up with that bet size on the turn?
Stick with tourneys, imo. This is horrid. -
ok i dont think it is crazy to say he has the 9d here but i do think you cannot fold here. if he happens to have it oh well thats why you have a bankroll so you can reload and then stack someone 5 minutes later...
But i dont think you can fold here because most of the time you are going to be ahead. He can easily have the Ad also which makes this a river bet you have to call..and i dont think if he had the 9d that he would shove that river unless he put you on exactly what you had because he knew you would call. -
SNAP CALL.
-
im an idiot
-
how can you ever call here? i dont think its results oriented at all i think he has the 9 of diamonds or quads here over 90% of the time, i jam the turn unexploitably
-
with so little invested i'm pretty much never calling here
-
I folded - he always has the 9 of diamonds...what else would he shove $200 into a $40 pot with?
Im not being results oriented and am pretty surprised at everyone saying snap call.
He's shoving the 9 of diamonds because of the general rule no one folds boats or nut flushes....
limping 1010utg is weak and is definitely not a usual thing, but I do it sometimes to vary my hand range. With $107 in front of me if i raise to $6 and get reraised to $26 im in a pretty weird spot. My bet sizing on the turn is exploitable...yet it doesn't matter if my opponents don't exploit it. My plays fine just thought the hand was interesting. I can't even see him instashoving the river with a boat...since i had a boat and my thought on the river was "FU_K" i can't believe the 9 of diamonds beats my hand now - which is exactly what he would be thinking with a boat or the nut flush...which is why he would never instashove those hands. -
the hate in this thread is awesome btw...gotta love it. I really don't mind my limp pre and thats not what I wanted help on. I usually raise and limping there sometimes is ok.
please tell me again why i can't play 50 bbs profitably vs spewy 1-2 players? I don't remember asking if I should be playing these stakes lol but thank you.
since theres so much hate......so these guys are over my head at 1-2 right? I should definitely move down

lol enjoy
fwiw if I hit the str flush I know to overshove as my opponent did with everyone saying "call you have a full house" -
So you ask for advice on a blatantly terribly played hand and then you get defensive about it when people call you out? What was the point of posting then?...... You say that you limp 10 10 to vary your range but then you give a specific reason on why you dont raise (dont want to get bumped up to 26).... How does that make any sense?..... Whats your plan if someone isolates you to 10...are you going to fold... call then fold any board without a ten... fold boards that have j q k a?...... Youre putting yourself into easily exploitable spots and hence why I dont think you should be playing these stakes
-
my 1st thought was you played the hand bad, but made the right laydown on the river. if i'm holding the straigh flush on that board, i over bet the pot every time knowing how hard it is to fold a 7 or a full house, or hopefully quads....villian just pushed against the wrong person, who made the right lay down
-
1 more thing to add....just by all the snap call responses on here proves my point in the above post.....
-
has to be a level.........
-
i dont care if i put myself into exploitable spots if my opponents are to weak to exploit them. People get so worried about being exploitable but if your opponents are so weak they won't play those spots optimally then the most +ev way to play a hand can sometimes be exploitable.
-
these are the retarded posts that make me want to never post on p5s again....
please genius explain to me why folding a $43 pot to a $90 call is an obvious level when all the guy needs is the 9d to beat my hand....
please explain why this "has to be a level".... please -
Ok man whatever... Dont ask for advice if youre not going to listen... youve obviously figured the game out... my bad... LOL @ posting a bunch of poorly played hands at a random table to justify how "weak" 1 2 players are..... I havent once even comented on your fold but all in all the hand was played poorly.... your stack... your limp and your raise on the turn set off enough alarms.... gl at the tables
-
your comment of "the fact you have $107 at the table tells me you shouldn't be playing these stakes" was very helpfull and constructive....thank you for your comments and help. best of luck to you too sir.
