I love this protection and I definitely don't consider myself a cheater. Let's say you get JJ and you raise preflop. Now if somebody goes all in, you typically have two choices, call or fold. Disconnection protection gives you a third option, unplugging your modem.
Then you reboot a minute later, log back in, and request a hand history to see what happened.
This way you wont go busted with average hands. -

Yes, I am kidding. I really only play Paradise and they don't have disconnection protection.
It sounds like you have been burned by somebody disconnecting. -
