  3. I have played on them here in Melbourne. They have about 15 tables at crown casino. They mainly have cash games $1/$2 NL tables. During the Aussie Millions they had a $1050 buy-in tourny on them. Had a few big names. Timex won it for about 35k.

Even though i have had a little bit of success on them, i would rather the real tables, dealers, cards chips etc. I think its ok for beginners or maybe when you wonder into the casino drunk at 3am

  4. from what I understand your cards come out face up on your screen so you can see them...cant people behind you in turn see them as well then and possibly alert friends at the table what you have?
  5. This seems like a disturbing trend to me. I mean why would you bother going to a casino to play on a screen just like the one at home? You get less tells when it's electronic, and you lose that old fashion poker feeling that makes playing live so much fun. I can just imagine 1 day 3-4 years from now, everyone in the poker room sitting alone together playing poker looking at a screen. The casinos love it because it's less overhead for them, now they want to replace all the real poker tables with these. YUCK. Please for the good of poker don't let these damn machines take over.
  6. The cards come out face down on the screen, and you have to use your hand like you normally would, and as you touch the screen, the cards appear for you to see. Yeah people behind could see, but only like normal cards. I am always aware who is around

  7. How do you get less tells??

Your still sitting there and have to look at the cards and everyone else at the table?

    It's all about more MONEY.

No paying dealers, no changing decks - more profit for the Casino.
    Period.
  8. You can't tell anything by they way people handle their cards?

It's "fewer" by the way, not "less".
  9. They should put RFID chips (I think that's what they're called) in each chip, then have a computer read them and automatically calculate pot size, bet size, side pot, etc.... Everything else could stay the same, but it would save a lot of time.
  10. I like it okay. I just wish the rakes were lower. Most have the same rake as a live game.
