I have not been able to have nearly the same success I have had on FTP as I have on Pstars and I have made some changes and now I am starting to.
I think the final tables on Pstars are always a lot deeper due to the slower later structures so the preflop play on FTP seems to be much more important. Am I wrong in thinking this?
What is your strategy on one vs the other? -
this doesnt really answer anything but stars structure early has to be the worst evererererer.

Yeah FTP u can sit and build ur stack but deep u might as well hope u can win flips like no other, or hold against 3 outers to shorties (which u never will)...stars u gotta gamble early and not let urself get too short or u'll never be able to double on that stupid site. But deep u can pick ur spots cuz you have deeper stacks. Nothing like playing for 10's of 1000's and being 30+bb deep and being 9/9. FTP the CL doesn't even have 30bb most of the time....
Oh and fwiw, I don't win on ftp...I can't do shit on there to save my life...doubt it's even realistic to ship an mtt on there. FTP I sit and try to get a stack then deep hope for AA repeatedly and my 70/30s to hold twice in a row. Stars just hope you can flip early and build a stack. Attack the short stacks cuz we all know it's rigged for the bigger stacks. -
i really think stars structure is better late. their blinds go up so incrementally. its something like 2k/4k, 2.5k/5k, 3k/6k, 3.5k/7k, 4k/8k whereas on full tilt it def seems to jump more rapidly by this stage.
full tilt is def better early than stars though.
idk i'll take a better late game structure over an early structure any day of the week. -
^^^ Nail hit on the head!!!!

It seems to me the value of hands is skewed when its like this. 66-99 has way more value deep on FTP than it does on stars. Same with AJ/AT. These hands you need to be 3 betting and willing to get it all in with. Players are constantly 4 bet shoving hands like QT deep due to the fact so many players 3 bet marginally.

Also the 15 minute late levels make a huge difference vs 12 minute levels.
